Introduction

Outperform Planning provides a standard connection to Exact Globe Next. This set of interfaces can import all essential data except production resource information. The Outperform plan results in a list of purchase suggestions and production suggestions which can be exported to Exact Globe Next using Exact entity services.

The interface exists since 2014 and has been fine-tuned ever since. It is in use at the following Outperform customers:

• De Kroes (De Kroes BV - ENRICHING APPETIZING MOMENTS)

Installation

What is needed?

Basic:

• Database administration rights
• Local administrator rights
• Name of the Exact Globe Next database
• Ability to create a linked server if Outperform Planning and Exact are on different servers
• A valid Outperform Planning license
• Outperform Planning software in a zipped folder

Order export via entity services:

• Entity services running
• The mac address of the machine that runs the entity services
• Access to the table BacoAccessServers in the Exact Globe database
• A login to Exact that is allowed to create orders

Step-by-step installation:

• Unzip the content of the Outperform Planning folder
• Run admin utility
• Fill in the required information 
• Admin utility will create a Outperform database
• Once the database is created, a wizard will start up
• Complete the required steps in the wizard
• Done!

Next steps:

Having successfully completed the step-by-step installation, you now have a working Outperform Planning solution with an integration connected to the Exact Globe Next database.

There is no data in Outperform Planning yet. To get the data:

• Run the integration
• Review and decide which products are relevant for forecasting and planning and switch those on
• Start forecasting
