Report Settings

The Report Settings icon (the cogwheel in the Home tab) will be active when a report is customizable. By clicking on the cogwheel, the user can change the look and feel of the report within the Settings menu that pops up. The Settings menu dialog will appear with the report-specific tab already open (i.e., if the user clicks on Report Settings in a Sales report, it will open the "Sales plan" report settings tab, and so on).

Some changes that can be made in the Settings menu include reordering column sequences or adjusting aggregation levels. The specific changes that can be made vary for each type of customizable report. When they are created or adjusted, the report settings apply to all of the reports in the same functional area. For example, adjustments made in the Settings menu on the "Sales plan" tab will apply to all sales-related reports. The only exception to this is the forecast report(s), which are controlled by the forecast configuration menu.
