Introduction

Outperform Planning is a software solution that enables the user to:

• Ensure the balance between demand, supply, and inventory
• Implement a structured S&OP process using workflows
• Drive the S&OP dashboard
• Track performance in order to plan

Outperform Planning facilitates a company’s S&OP process by consolidating relevant and accurate data in readily accessible reports and dashboards.

The application covers the functional areas indicated below.

The above processes can be grouped into these 4 main areas:

1. Master data: All the product, warehouse, and other data that defines the business and is the basis for the planning system. This data is integrated from the ERP system. In addition, planning-specific details can be maintained in Outperform Planning.
2. Generating and adjusting plans: The areas where the user interacts most and does the planning. For example, this area is where the user creates and reviews sales forecasts, inventory plans, production plans, and production schedules.
3. Reporting: Various reports that are created from the information in the different planning areas. These include everything from highly detailed reports on the sales plan and production schedules to the KPI reports on the dashboard.
4. Technical: This includes the integration with other systems, reports, and functions to support administrative tasks such as maintaining users and roles.
