Scheduling is the last piece in the puzzle from sales forecasting to production execution. All the reports that are needed to do the detailed daily planning are in the scheduling section. This includes the two user interfaces where the production plan can be viewed by resource and edited. The user interfaces contain details including the products being produced, downtimes and changeover times, as well as production order numbers. Since it is close to operations, the details of the client’s business process are very important to how scheduling is set up. Therefore, Outperform's scheduling framework offers some flexibility.
